Private Jet Charter Broker Heads Up Autism Charity

It’s an amazing story when a successful businessman gives his time for a good cause. Such is the case with Antonio Ferrara of The Allied Jet Agency in Sarasota, Florida. This private jet charter broker heads up autism charity, Aviators for Autism.

Antonio’s aviation career started working ground operations then all the way up to a leadership role at one of the largest direct carriers (Part 135 operators) before starting The Allied Jet Agency.

As the Executive Director and Founder of Aviators for Autism, the mission is to ‘Expose, Educate, & Empower” the autism and neurodiverse communities, along with their families via aviation. The emphasis is to create inclusive opportunities through events, airport visits, scholarships programs, and employment initiatives. All of this will be focused on aviation-related businesses.

Antonio founded Aviators for Autism after the birth of his son, with non-verbal autism.

In his own words, “We’re creating the industry’s first charter flight desk run by a neurodiverse workforce, allowing them a structured, inclusive working environment to thrive in.”

Aviators for Autism has been doing charity events in the Long Island, NY area. Some past events include Aviation Adventure Day at Talon Air and Hugo Boss New Season Launch Event. An upcoming event called “Trunk or Treat” is planned for October 26th in Westhampton Beach, NY.

In 2026 the plan is to expand events into Florida with the help of Aircraft Guys and other charity event organizers.

His neurodiverse advocacy work is needed and long overdue. Clearly, the sky is the limit for employment opportunities in aviation.

And another amazing accomplishment of Antonio is that he was just awarded the coveted Business Aviation Top 40 under 40 Award for 2025.

We commend his work and hope that readers of this will help support this amazing charity. For more info please contact alica@aircraftguys.com or antonio.ferrara@stratosjet.com
