Velari has developed an AI powered app that connects aircraft operators with verified, experienced crew members and technicians on demand. The app is available for both native IOS and Android and can be downloaded through their respective app stores.
Business Jet activity steadily increases year over year, with an anticipated growth on an additional 10,000 aircraft going service just over the next couple of years.
Beyond the demand for pilots and flight crews are Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events which represent a significant problem. The demand for trained MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) technicians is also on the rise. This is in part due to almost half the business jets in service today are over 15 years old.
Antonio Ferrara is well versed in all aspects of private aviation. His interest in aviation began at a very young age with his father, an airline pilot.
He began his career in aviation working in flight operations, with one of the largest New York Based Part 135 Operators and brokers.
He worked his way up to a leadership role, gaining a comprehensive understanding of all facets of private aviation. His expertise lies in client services, operations, aircraft sourcing, fleet strategy, aircraft valuation, and compliance.
With the recent surge in advisory services by some of the larger charter brokers, his knowledge is invaluable. There are very few individuals with this breadth of knowledge.
Additionally, his career has been built on relationships, advocacy, and personalized service. Regardless of a Part 135 direct carrier or Part 91 owner, it’s all about the level of service and relationship.
This expertise and experience will be a great asset to helping the growth of the Velari Group.
